About

I am an assistant professor in the mathematics department at the United States Naval Academy. I obtained a PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering under advisor Dr. John Gunnar Carlsson at the University of Southern California in 2022. I worked as a postdoctoral instructor at Rice University under the direction of Dr. Illya Hicks 2022-2024.

I am broadly interested in combinatorial optimization problems with high impact applications, and I am passionate about communicating mathematical ideas effectively and getting students from all backgrounds interested and supported in pursuing mathematics and engineering.
